Ethiopia condemns appalling killings at Mogadishu

ENA – The Ethiopian government strongly condemned the suicide attack took place on Thursday at Mogadishu that killed officials and innocent civilians, who were attending graduation ceremony at Benadir University, the ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

In its statement sent to ENA on Thursday the ministry said three ministers of Transitional Federal Government, several MPs, three journalists and more than 20 students were killed in the attack.

The Ethiopian government expressed its condolence to the people and government of Somalia and the families of all those who lost their lives in the appalling terrorist atrocity.

The ministry said the attack should only redouble the determination of the international community and UN Security Council to use all possible effort to bring about peace and stability in Somalia.
