One Party Cannot Represent Diversity

The May 2010 national elections were transformative. For sceptics, the nation seems to be transforming from a dysfunctional democracy to a one-party state, from having little room for dissenting voices to having no room at all, from a pretentiously deliberative Parliament to a consensual legislature, and from having a spark of hope for democratisation to no hope at all.
