Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia experts convene in Addis Ababa

The ministers’ meeting is expected to kick off in response to an invitation by the Ethiopian water minister to discuss the future of technical cooperation between the three countries through scenarios set by Egyptian and Sudanese experts.

Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Bahaaeldin arrived in Addis Ababa to attend the ministerial meeting.

Bahaaeldin said he is leading an expert delegation to the meeting with the aim of setting up a mechanism for technical cooperation among the three Eastern Nile Countries.

The meeting aims to discuss a range of issues, including the technical cooperation between the three countries and the obstacles facing the Eastern Nile Technical Regional Office (ENTRO).

ENTRO celebrated on Tuesday, October 23, 10 years of building Eastern Nile cooperation among the member states; Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan.
