Jointly Trained Commando Force Graduates

Ethiofact – Fano members jointly trained by Gojam Fano and Gondar Fano command have completed their training and graduated on December 16, 2024.

According to Asres Mare Damtie, Vice Chair and Head of Political Affairs of Amhara Fano Gojjam Command, the graduation of this joint commando force is a significant step forward in the realization of the unification of all Fano forces.

The high-quality commandos number more than 1,000, and the commandos have been instructed to prepare for future joint operations.

Meanwhile, Gojam Fano has lifted the road closure notice that was imposed a week ago. Accordingly, all roads will be open to traffic effective December 16, 2024.
